Eligibility Criteria for RPSC School Lecturer Posts
To apply for these positions, candidates must fulfill certain educational qualifications and age requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- For Lecturer Posts: A postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university, along with a Degree/Diploma in Education.
- For Coach Positions: A Bachelor’s degree with a Diploma in Physical Education, plus an NIS certification in the relevant sport.
- Age Limit:
- Candidates must be aged between 21 to 40 years as of 1st January 2025.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories.
- Proficiency: Applicants must have proficiency in Hindi (Devanagari script) and a basic understanding of Rajasthani culture.
Registration Fee
Applicants are required to pay a registration fee based on their category:
- General/OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600/-
- SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS: ₹400/-
- PwD Candidates: ₹400/-
It’s important to note that candidates from outside Rajasthan must apply under the General category.
RPSC School Lecturer Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a written examination divided into two papers:
- Paper I: General Studies (150 Marks, 1.5 hours)
- Paper II: Subject-Specific (300 Marks, 3 hours)
There will be a negative marking (1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer). Candidates must score a minimum of 40% for general categories and 35% for SC/ST categories to qualify.
For sports teacher positions, candidates will also be evaluated based on their participation certificates in sports events.
