BSF Recruitment 2024, Notification Out for 275 GD Constable Posts

The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially announced the BSF Sports Quota Recruitment 2024, offering an exciting opportunity for male and female athletes who have demonstrated excellence in their respective sports. A total of 275 Constable (General Duty) positions are available under this recruitment drive. This is a Group “C” position, non-gazetted and non-ministerial. The organization will appoint selected candidates temporarily, with the possibility of permanent placement.

Eligibility Criteria for GD Constable

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• Sports Achievement: Applicants should have participated in or earned medals in International/National sports events between December 31, 2022, and December 30, 2024, in recognized competitions.

Age Limit

The age of candidates must be between 18 to 23 years as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations are provided as per government rules: SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation, and OBC candidates get a 3-year relaxation.
